So Smart!

I realized that I haven't posted much about Anna lately. She is getting so big! She's 10 months old now and is so smart!

She just crawled in her car seat one day and had fun playing in it.

Yesterday, I was very sick. I ended up throwing up in the morning, felt weak, I could barely eat anything all day, etc. So I basically didn't do anything yesterday. Luckily, Anna was such a good baby and was so good at entertaining herself. I just laid on the couch a lot while she was playing. In a way, I'm almost glad I was sick, because I was able to just watch her play and kind of look at her in a new light. She is such a beautiful baby girl. She's so curious and loves to explore. It was so cute, because every once in a while, she'd stop what she was doing and look at me. I would just smile, and she would give me a big smile back. I just really enjoyed watching my baby girl.

Then later in the evening, I laid down on the couch again and Dan joined me. Then a few seconds later, Anna was right there at the couch with us. Then, she did probably the cutest/funniest thing I've ever seen her do! She started playing peek-a-boo with us. BUT she was the one doing the peek-a-boo! She was at the edge of the couch standing. Then she would crouch down, so we couldn't see her, then pop herself up! We kind of cheered her, then she would kind of yell and squeal and crouch down again. This went on for about 5 min! She loved it. She just kept crouching down and popping herself back up. She's just so smart!

She's really getting into imitating. A lot of times I'll make a funny noise at her and then she'll try and copy me. I'll clap my hands and she'll clap hers. I'll rub my finger on my lips and she'll do the same. On Sunday, I had to wipe something off the floor and she was on the floor by me. As soon as I finished, I looked at her and she took her hand and was wiping it back and forth on the floor!

She has also started to take some small steps. I think the most she's done is 3 in a row. Usually, she'll do one or two, then start crawling. I bet she'll probably be walking in a month or so. I'm so happy and grateful to be her mom. She really does bring so much joy and happiness to me and Dan.

Lately, because she has top and bottom teeth, she loves holding things in her mouth. She'll then walk around with them, keeping whatever it is, in her mouth. She reminds us of a little puppy dog. :)

Sometimes she just loves sticking out her tongue.

What's not to love about this adorable baby?
